Nah, Not D+D. It origonally started off as Warhammer Fantasy Rp, but our house rules seem to have made it a completley different beast entirley now...

okay, to settle things for the schizoid players, what could I edit into MY last post to help you three along? Keep in mind my main characters are in a fight right now, so see what you three can agree on that would help your situation

I'm waiting for all of you guys to stop waiting on other people and trying to pass the blame on.
SOMEONE POST BEFORE YOU KILL IT
If it dies Oct, the blood is on your hands... also Kan's.

Alright, I posted in Schizoid. Apparently, I can still break a writer's block if I stare at the page long enough. It's not much, but it's at least a setup for another idea I had. I don't want to start into it until I see what everyone else is doing first, though.

Okay, so since we got some time off hard ass RP work during christmas and new years. I got some time to work on my notes of new plots whilst Kan intends to do his next.
Basically, I'm looking for the Tremors fans to give advice on my next spy plot involving a dangerous animal based situation in an isolated desert town, plus it has the pro and antagonists working together. Every little bit is appreciated, though I have to pay you in enron stock.
If several people want to play as Burt Gummer at once I may have to hide or give cop out answers though.

Looks like a perfect situation for my recurring-type guy, the Panhandle International one. As for who we're playing, well, we're all gonna have guns, aren't we? That would make sticking to the plot a bit difficult.

I'm available for tips. I saw all four Tremors movies, and most of the series. Assuming I'm going to get involved in this, though, I'm thinking I might want to give Con a break and try a new character.

Hey, found the little piece of paper I left my ideas on. So I'll put down what I got for anyone to add to.
Basically, I started this spy plot with a basis on DCs Suicide Squad, so along with other characters we would add previously arrested criminal characters kept in line with explosive collars or something. Was hoping to get some humor out of the interactions between each side when they weren't activley trying to kill each other.
The big emergency would be a herd of infected bulls driven into a berserker rage by animal experimentation, and released by activists, who promptly get trampled and gored. The big mission will be for the teams to use antidote based rounds with their usual weapons to take out the bulls, lest the infection spread into the food chain if some other animal killed and ate the bulls. (think the eps of the Tremors series where they had to kill monsters without spilling blood, gets the players thinking rather than shooting constantly) but by using special rounds you can still use your prefered weapon.
and the setting is pretty much a slightly larger version of Perfection Nevada, we'll have a bar, general store, few homes, hotel/motel and a few farms, mine shafts and survivalist compounds in the surrounding area.
Well, thats pretty much what I had so far, if Grig or Ty (or anyone else) have anything to add, much abliged

At the risk of killing someone else's RP, I had a concept I wanted to bounce off you all. It was originally an idea for a videogame, but I think the setting could work for an RP. Basically, all the "no godmodding" rules go out the window.
The story would take place in a world where god-like beings live, work, play and battle for control, while lowly mortals do their best to survive the chaos. Think Dragonball Z crossed with Black and White. This is essentially a very open world where your character can go anywhere and do just about anything. There would be a general "don't be a dick and blow up the planet" rule, but otherwise the rulebook is wide open.

I had an "Immortals" thingy idea, where all the characters live forever, and thus have like abilities earnt from living forever... Wish to combine ideas Or stick with yours (I probably won't bother with mine otherwise )

"did not!" "Did to!" arguments springing up already mainly because I'd probably be part of that and I usually seem to cause them x3

I just can't say no to some people....except charity workers...hurm.

In theory, the term "overpowered" won't have to come up. There are a few extreme cases where someone could do something to utterly kill the story, in which case we can probably undo the damage without much trouble. Assuming no one has a problem with it, I could run a sort of passive 'admin' character who could press the Undo button if something world-endingly awful happens.
As for character death, my thinking was that none of them could permanently die. They could only be incapacitated temporarily, or in extreme cases their earthly vessel would be destroyed, only to be respawned sometime in the future.

One words........ Clones BABY! ;D I thought of this immediately when I started playing Baroque the other day. Play for a while, die, release another spawn, and do it all over again.

At the risk of sounding stupid here... Whats the end objective for the Architects RP? I mean, has it got a definate goal like Spy (Stop/help the bad guys) or is it just a big melee thread? Are we supposed to be fighting all the time, or.. what? Just wondering, is all.

Honestly, I'm kind of wondering what objectives people would want to have given the setting. If it's obvious the RP's going nowhere, I'll introduce a major plot device to get things moving in that direction, but for starters I just want to see what everyone wants to do.

Okay, for the record, I'll consider pretty much anything that isn't a part of your physical anatomy to be an element in nature. I'm pretty loose with these powers. Hell, you can have power over foam insulation if you want.
