Okay, my next RP, and one I hope will go well. [glow=red,2,300]Note:[/glow] I head to Scotland tommorow, so this is just for signing up for now. Nobody start before I get back on Sunday. *************************************************** Here’s the back story. During the mid 1970s. Humans started developing enhanced abilities through accident, experiment and even occurring naturally. Starting with some easily developing into twice peak physical condition and intelligence, and a lesser number developing even more unusual powers. They were soon dubbed Supers. It was estimated that 1 in 10,000 were born Supers, with 1 in 100,000 having multiple powers and countless others becoming Supers by other means. To prevent panic and unrestrained use of these powers. The U.N set up programs in most countries for supers to be trained to control their abilities, whilst keeping their identities safe. It was also declared a war crime for governments to force their native supers into military service rather than home defence. Costumed vigilantism was soon legalised among registered Supers, with propaganda campaigns dubbing unregistered Supers a public danger. Supers registered and not soon became reserves for police and other emergency services, becoming Superheroes. Whilst some used their powers for personal gain, becoming Super villains In late 2004. A large fleet of airships was sighted over the Atlantic. Soon found to be an international alliance of Super villains. Registered Heroes were rushed out from their home countries to battle this threat but where easily captured, killed or went missing. The Super villains greatest strategists teaming up their members to overwhelm each hero. After a month of silence, the fleet moved across America devastating all opposition, with not only their own weapons, but the captured heroes turned against their homelands through various means. The U.S was conquered in a matter of weeks, with a new Government of Villains ruling from former hero bases. It is now 2007. The Villains have been running the country for some time, their own armies putting down any attempt at challenge whilst their fleet moves over the rest of the world. Life continues as normal, except for mass censorship, surveillance and a twisted form of law, including public execution. However, the unregistered heroes and several registered who survived the initial battles haven’t given up, fighting from underground for the ideals they protected years ago. ************************************************** Rules* The setting is New York, it's tradition. * I'm going to allow everyone TWO characters, hero and villain, although civilian is also welcome. If you only want to use one, go ahead. But you could experiment, see what you prefer between good and evil. * As far as powers go. I'm fairly open on pretty much anything except these. Time manipulation- Not fair to the other players. Precognition and future prediction- Forces other players into a corner. Power absorbtion or mimicing- Trenchcoating. Mind control- Unfair to other players. * NO TRENCHCOATING * Developing powers. Say if your character learns a new use for his powers. PM me first. * This is not NBCs Heroes. Keep the Dawson creek crap to a minimum. Character design(This'll be fun) * Try giving both a Super name, and identity if necessary. * Robots and Magic constructs are alright, aliens....character origins only, we don't want to add any invasions to complicate things. * If your hero or villain wears a costume, describe it when you write a character. * Weaknesses, every hero has at least one. Although Villains can have about 30-50% character flaws as well. * Try not to rip off real characters. If you accidently rip off an obscure character no one has heard of in a few decades it's okay. But no obvious rip offs. * Here's a few examples of types of heroes and Villains: Powered- Superman, Green Lantern, Silver Surfer. Physical fighters- Batman, Elektra, Captain America. Marksmen- Bullseye, Punisher, Green Arrow. Armoured or Robotic- Iron man, Steel, Ultron. Magic- Dr Strange, Baron Mordo. Mythical- Thor, Loki (although it can be from any mythology) Non human- Martian Manhunter, Fin Fang FoomAnd of course there are many more kinds. Have fun...I hope to bring a good crowd and I'll be back sunday. CharactersScorpio- Hero: Mr Molecular. Villain: Doctor Sin. Khallos- Villain: Dark Chocolate. Ty- Hero: Inferno. Villain: Butcher Bill. Kanian- Hero: Justin Inman. Zedjag- Hero: Rock Slide. Villain: Karn the Spiked. Valentine- Freelance: Long Shot. Hero: Devils bane. Grig- Hero: Multitude. ooc: Okay, get this over with.
Hero: Mr Molecular (Jack Decker) Eyes: Blue, Height: 6'8, Hair: Brown, Age: 28. Nationality: English Costume: Blue with Black belt, gloves and boots. Atom symbol on chest. Skin, hair and eyes turn silver in hero form.
Former leader of registered hero team 'United Justice' able to transform into living energy in a containment 'skin'. Was shot down by a Villain airships and wound up in Manhattan. Lives in a disused back up base in the subway tunnels helping the resistance. Disgruntled after the deaths of his team, but is still a hero first.
Powers: - Flight. - Molecular control. Can either phase through physical barriers or turn diamond hard. Limited to 30 second bursts. - Heated energy blasts from hands. Can encase fists in similar energy to strengthen punches.
Weaknesses: - Can't phase or blast through lead. - Water causes a 'ground out' effect. Sapping his power. - If his skin is breached in his hero form he leaks his own energy, too much leakage and he dissapates taking several hours to reform. - 'Leave no man behind' attitude. - Sleeps in a lead isolation chamber, to avoid his powers going out of control while he sleeps.
*************************************************** Villain: Doctor Sin (Vincent Sin) Eyes: Green, Height: 6'8, Hair: Grey, Age: 37. Nationality: English/Chinese Costume: Dark Grey Hooded cloak. Naploeonic war style Military uniform. Both made of 'regenerative fibres' repairing damage. (it's clothing not armour)
Son of two geneticists and gifted with great intellect Sin had a decent life ahead of him, if he didn't believe himself above all others. Turning his mind to evil and gathering like minded followers he has been a long time enemy of United Justice. Is thought to be behind turning several heroes during the war. Now rules from his enemies former base in New York.
His goal in life is the creation of a body worthy of his mind. So he practises dozens of grim experiments, on himself and others.
Powers: - Powerful healing factor, able to recover from otherwise fatal wounds. - Poisonous bone spikes grow from his forearms, hands and fingers, for launching, throwing or slashing. - Fear inducing pheromones dubbed Fearomones. Potency increasing with his anger. - Ability to transform into a large four armed snake like beast.
Weakness: - As a side effect of his self experiments he must consume human flesh regularly, equivalent of a full grown man daily. - Transformation is unstable during anger, casuing him to go into feeding frenzies. - His ego is his greatest flaw. He fully believes himself above anyone else. This led to his defeat several times before the war.

You need to change the 1990s to early 1970s or 80s, or we will have prepubescent heroes.
[glow=red,2,300]Scorp edit: Missed that one.[/glow]

hmm... this sounds interesting, ok lets see, can i have a hero who just kinda does who just does his own thing? I mean he would be with the team but if theres a chance he can better his position he would take it?
[glow=red,2,300]Scorp EDIT: Like a guy who sells out the resistance? Sure.[/glow]
and if we have a villain, then what rank in the villain alliance would they be?
[glow=red,2,300]Scorp EDIT: No real ranking as such. The higher Villains pretty much rule over their territories, with lower level villains acting police and military.[/glow]

Name: Justin Inman, Age: 17 Height: 6 feet even. Brown hair with a cool blue gray beginning to grow in streaks. Power: Able to manipulate certain attributes of molecules, such as there temperature, current, and the number of atoms they are comprised of, but only in a close radius to him or within his direct line of sight or mentality. Also his body is stronger than most normal humans, on par with that of a Marine in peak condition, even though he is only 17. Costume: Street clothes Nickname: The Ice, because of his chosen way of using his powers. Bio: The son of James Inman and Jen Inman, both of who were those known as supers. His father was the result of a government experiment, one to improve the physical abilities of soldiers with the introduction of select Super DNA. His mother however is a natural born Super, one with but a some would call flimsy powers, she was able to interact, with certain microscopic parts of the body, giving them a slight sentientity, causing them to fight and heal more better, making her a healer of sorts, but her power required a considerable amount of concentration and direct contact with the intended person. When James was tossed aside from the experiment, cause was, undesired results. He was to be disposed of so would not be able to cause any problems, however he had kept his new found abilities hidden from the tests and escaped from the government facility were he was being kept. He was changed into a man that was far above that of peak condition, the first and last of his kind. Being injured the escape he found him self collapsed on the doorstep of Jen, who brought him back to full health. As a Registered Super she was obligated to report on James but didn’t as she believed it to be the wrong thing to do. Flash foreword to 1990, a one year old Justin begins to show signs of abilities, fearing for the child both James and Jen disappeared into the jungle of New York city. The child grew up, hiding the fact he was a Super, in fear of the government. Before the first attacks he was obsessed with gaming, with one franchise bigger to him than all others. (Yeh we all know what one ) During the first attacks his Father, unable to stand for what was happening went along with other unregistered Heroes to combat the evil invading force. Before being killed he took care of many low and slightly high profile Villains. Earning him the title 'The Spartan' for he had fought like the ancient warriors of Sparta, holding his own against overwhelming odds. The mother, Jen, was killed when she refused to heal a wounded villain. Thankfully Justin had been out that day, avoided his death. Coming home to find he mother’s corpse his mood changed to an icy coldness. A infantryman for the villains had come to raid the house for valuables and found the then 15 year old Justin. As he had entered the room Justin turned his icy gaze toward him and began changing the air around him, dropping the temp of the molecules that made up the air around him, effectively freezing the air around him. Such a drastic use of his still growing ability he barely avoided passing out then and there. Using his strong will he forced himself to remain conscious, although his energy was spent. Since then he has become something a thorn in the sides of a few villains, but nothing worth much trouble. He has been living in secret since that day, he knows or the resistance but is unable to bring himself to fully trust them, keeping himself under their radar. Over time he has honed his ability, and still is to this day. His most promanant ability is to cool and freeze the area around him,(Think Iceman but slightly different with the way he uses his powers, but different). He has found he is able to incase his body in something like ice, using the air around him, although this never touches his skin as he is afraid of what might happen. This ‘Armor’ can absorb the force of some bullets with out breaking, although it can be easily melted with heat. At one point the experimented with a full cover of fire but found it was to hard to control and winded up burning most of his body. Today he has been experimenting with the altering of the number of atoms and current inside of molecules, which would enable him to change certain things, such as water or air, but he can not fully control this. Along with altering the molecules, his changing of the current inside allows him to form a electric charge around his body, but for a short while, although again he can not fully control this and the field dissipates shortly after its creation. Powers: -Manipulate aspects of molecules. - Can form an ‘Ice armor’ around himself - Change an amount of air around him to moisture, allowing him to cause it to freeze (Main unexplored however, so not much use until later) -Create a small field of electricity around himself, making him his own generator Weaknesses: - Does not have full control over his abilities - Something of a loner - Most of his abilities can be countered with some form of uncontrollable heat - Unable to hold the field’s charge for very long. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name:Joe Walpole Age:20 Height: 6'1 Eyes: Blue, Hair: Brown Nationality: American, Southern Bio: A young man from the south, during a trip to New York with his parents he found himself in a war zone, as the Villains had just invaded the day after he arrived. During an evacuation his parents were killed by an explosion, Joe's life had been saved only by a unknown element to his powers. Like many others he found he was different at a young age, but kept it hid. Shortly after his parents were killed he found himself a member of the young Resistance, were he was given the codename 'Modified'. Powers: -Super strong -Abilities change when near certain elements. -When near heat or fire his body become super fast -When near extreme cold his body becomes invulnerable for a short time. Weaknesses: -powers only work when around heat or cold, and never at the same time -Dependant on others for powers

OOC: Huzzah! I've been planning this for ages xD Heh. Might put my Hero up later, but for now I'm gonna concentrate on my villain:
Villain Name: Dark Chocolate Eyes: White icing with black pupils, Height: 5'11, Hair:N/A, Age: Unknown. Nationality: Swiss Gender: Female... sort of. Costume: A red velvet bow tie tied around her neck. Thats it, really.
No-one really knows what perverted forces brought Dark Chocolate, or DC as she prefers to be known, into being. All thats known of her beginnings is that her "father" was the renowned swiss Chocolatier Herr Eisenhower. An ex Nazi, the kindly old gent had settled down in the Swiss alps to pursue his true love; making chocolates.
One day, however, his workshop in the remote village of Shooshine was found ransacked, the equipment apparently unharmed... but the interior of the building had been COATED in molten chocolate, long since hardened, the perpetrator having made their exit via the window at the front of the shop. The only thing stolen, other than the bon-bons liberated by thieving children after the incident, was Herr Eisenhower's new recipe book, only half finished. Of the chocolatier himself there was no sign, and his body has never been recovered.
That was more than 25 years before the day the supervillains took control of the world, and of Dark Chocolate and her creator there had been no sign - they had apparently vanished totally, although admittedly the authorities had no idea what they should have been searching for. On that fateful day in 2004, they found out.
Dark Chocolate was just what her name suggested: An evil, living hunk of chocolate, able to morph into any shape (Her favorite being a giant chocolate Bunnie) an apparently completely impervious to most attacks, both Physical and Physic. Not only that, the commands control over candies, an unimpressive sounding ability at first, but soon enough Gobstopper Golems and her now trademark Marshmallow Monsters were rampaging up and down the west coast, their victims literally smothered by sweets.
Nowadays Dark Chocolate is in charge of a Maximum Security prison for Superheroes, which, rather disturbingly, doubles as a factory for more of her candy minions. Certainly none of the inmates have ever come out alive, and yet there are always free cells...
Powers: - DC is a shape-shifter, and can grow as large as she wants, provided there is enough molten chocolate nearby for her to use to add to her form. - DC, being made of chocolate, is impervious to bullets, and physic attacks seeming have no effect on her whatsoever. - Has a trademark attack which involves melting herself and coursing down the victims throat, causing a very literal death by chocolate. - Possesses Herr Eisenhower's recipe book, allowing her to create more mindless Marshmallow Minions to do her evil bidding. - Is always waited on by her Elite Guard of fellow living chocolate bunnies: Rumors say that they are in fact chocolate coated ex superheroes, bent to do her bidding. - A single drop of her melted chocolate matter is enough to taint any chocolate it comes into, allowing her to escape battles in liquid form and reform at a later date.
Weakness: - Is susceptible to extreme heat (it burns her "flesh", although only after melting her) and extreme cold (frozen solid) - The same Recipe book that allows her to create more living candy minions also carries the secret to ending her existence once and for all, and is therefore heavily guarded. - DC looooves attention, and the affections of her minions are not enough: she requires new playthings on a regular basis, or she is likely to become confused, pouty and angry. Insulting her beauty is a surefire way to enrage her.
OOC: hmm. Might come back and edit that. Also, im not sure if being female is the right thing... it seemed more in character. it doesnt really matter, though, what with her (him? hir? It?) being a shapeshifter, and all...

Here goes nothing.
Hero: Name: Simon Pensky - "Inferno" Age: 20 Costume: None. Just wears street clothes. Powers: -Pyrokinesis: Can start and control fires at will. He doesn't have to be in direct contact with something to ignite it, just within 5 feet. Once the fire is lit, though, he can make it spread as far as he wants. The flames get stronger when he gets angrier, sometimes getting hot enough to warp steel. -He can also prevent combustion at will within a 15 foot range, making most guns useless against him. -Resistant to heat. He's completely unharmed by heat and cannot be hurt by any incendiary devices.
Weaknesses: -Violent, sometimes uncontrollable temper. -Cold. -Water. He cannot use his powers underwater, and like anyone else, can drown.
Background: Inferno is something of an anti-hero, really. He's a natural-born super. He first discovered his powers at a young age, but fearing what might happen if anyone found out, he told no one, practicing them only in secret.
After his parents were killed during the revolution, he had a serious mental breakdown. He developed a violent temper, and did everything he could to hide it, but his emotions continued to build up inside until he couldn't control himself any longer.
The final straw came when he was accosted by some arrogant super-villain police officers. He snapped and attacked, killing two of them before he was captured. They took him back to the station and locked him in a cell, planning to deal with him the next day. However, that night, his anger got the better of him again. He let his rage loose and burned the entire building to the ground. By the time anyone showed up to try to figure out what happened, he was already gone.
Now, Inferno acts as an unregistered street vigilante, usually burning down villains' homes or other police offices. He isn't entirely sure where he's going or what he plans to do, but his rage won't let him sit still for long.
--------------
Villain: Name: William Jones - "Butcher Bill" Age: 43 Costume: A faded orange jumpsuit, reminiscent of prisoner attire. Powers: -Super strength -Immortality Weaknesses: -Very slow -Can't swim. He sinks like lead in any body of water.
Background: Before the Villians' revolution, Bill was a convicted serial killer given the death sentence. However, the authorities were shocked to find that they couldn't kill him. They tried absolutely everything on him. They hung him, gave him a lethal injection, electrocuted him, put him in the gas chamber, and threw him to the firing squad. They even beheaded him once. They really thought they had him that time, until his body suddenly stood up, picked up the head and reattached it a minute later.
The Supervillians saw potential in Bill, and used their mind control techniques to make him their slave. He now acts as a special-ops officer, usually assigned to silencing revolts from would-be heroes looking to start an uprising. His latest assignment is in New York, trying to find the culprit of a recent string of arson attacks.
(If anyone has a problem with Bill's immortality, let me point something out: he's immortal, but he's not invincible. For example, if a building collapses on him or he gets pinned under fallen rocks, he'll have to crawl out, which could take a while. If you tossed him off a boat in the middle of the ocean, he'd sink straight to the bottom and have to walk along the ocean floor all the way to land. If you cut off his head and tossed it away, his body would just walk after it, trying to find it again. Until he reattached it, he'd be unable to do anything else.)

Hero Hero Name: Rock Slide
Alter Ego: Jack Crusine
costume: wears large baggy clothing so that they remain in tact when he uses his powers
powers: Super speed, can turn in to solid granite or stone giving him near invincibility for a short period of time
weaknesses: hot headed, he acts in his own interests to stay alive and kicking. He can only be rock for a short period of time. Otherwise he loses all ability to move.
Background: Rock slide was once a great hero, defending the innocent no matter the price. He noticed his powers at the age of 18 and vowed to fight for justice and freedom. Many times, this almost lead to his death. But when the Villains attacked, he went to fight them instantly. Because of his rash decision, he was ignored by the other supers as hot headed and short sighted. After a villain recon group found him and left him for dead, he became bitter towards endangering himself for others.
Villain
Villain's name: Karn the spiked
Alter ego: none
costume: he has spikes on most articles of clothing as well as on his head.
Powers: Rage allows him to grow in stature and strength, He can make a barbed sword appear in his hand, and he can cover his body in spikes for a short amount of time.
Weaknesses: battle lust, He usually will not retreat from a fight unless it looks nearly impossible for him to win. HE will never surrender. He is immoral in nearly ever way and has little good in him. There is not a crime known to man that he has not committed or set in motion.
Background: Karn the spiked was a door man at a small, shady bar before the villain invasion. He liked his life, he had a nice apartment, a decent car, a steady job that he liked to do, Everything satisfied him. One night, walking to his car after his shift, he was hit by some sort of dart and passed out. When he came to, he was on a metal bed strapped to the table. Looking down, he noticed many large spikes sticking through his skin but he felt no pain. He was deformed, ugly, a freak. Enraged, he attempted to break through his bonds, suddenly he grew in stature and size, dwarfing the considerable bulk that he had had before. The straps holding him broke as his wrists, ankles, and chest expanded outwards. Scientists and soldiers burst through the door but he slammed in to them with such force that they either flew away or were impaled upon his spikes. A scientist ran out and began to yell at him, beseeching him to look at the good that he could do, how much his experiments could benefit him. He grabbed the scientist and his spikes quickly grew from him stabbing in to the white trench coat and body of his "creator". Finally, he realized what he was, a super. As his size again began to diminish, he began to loath himself, he had always hated supers, they had advantages over regular humans that just weren't fair, he knew that one day they would turn against the human populace and seize control. He devoted his life to fighting supers, killing as many as he could. This drew attention from the villains and they quickly recruited him, telling him that their attacks on the city were just to annihilate the supers. Slowly, he rose in power, and it corrupted him, he began committing all sorts of crimes and killing innocent people. He was now a full blown villain.

ic: In the top floor of the building formerly known as the United Justice Tower, Doctor Vincent Sin looked out over his territory with boredom. He'd defeated his enemies, was ruling over their city from their own base, yet he missed his former rivals. Replaced with hunting down the fools who went against his rule. One of his aides passed him a clipboard.
"Doctor, a commitee from the slums have sent up this petition for more rations for the people."
"Arrest the commitee." Sin had lightened up a bit, he secretly wished for people to oppose him. "Then divide their rations among the slums."
The aide left the room passing two of the anti-men soldiers. Sin's mutated henchmen. *************************************************** The heavy door of the tank creaked open. Jack Decker stepped out, fully rested. He made his way to his desk and turned on the radio, listening to rebel reports.
"We've managed to get our pamphlets printed, distributing them is going to be a lot harder. Police aircraft are on high alert after some fires last week."
Decker took a headset to talk back.
"Any villains on patrol?"
"Klown and Hollowpoint, they're working from an observation post on the downtown rooftops."
"Be ready by 16:00. I'll clear the way."

Rock slide entered the room and listened to Decker's conversation, great, volunteering for another mission that could get us killed and do nothing overall, thats what i like doing. He thought to himself.
"Well, whats the word?" he asked
*************************************************************************** Karn the Spiked entered the room, his spikes bumping against the doorway as he walked past the mutants.
"Sir, Is there any new information on uprisings? or perhaps underground heroes? It has been long since i was in combat with someone worthy of my abilities."

Val wakes up in his dirty little room and moves to the ridge grabbing a beer and flops back on the bed staring up at the cealing drinking the beer. He had already gone through six or seven jobs in the past fortnight. Mostly simple knock out jobs for both the goverment (Villians) and the rebels (Heros). The goverment paid better but the rebels had more challenging targets to hit. Now he was waiting on his next offer while doing so he had nothing else to do but clean his weapons.

OOC: Just realized I didn't do much in the way of physical description for my guys. I'll do it now.
IC:
Simon was walking by himself down the street. He wasn't really sure which street. He didn't care much. He was just trying to keep calm. Between the summer heat and the noisy traffic on the street, he was having a hard time keeping a cool head.
He stopped next to a news stand. At first, he was just pretending to look at the papers and magazines, trying to block out all the chaos around him. But then, he saw an article that caught his eye. Curious, he picked up the paper and started to read.
"Hey, hey!" the vendor yelled. "Those aren't free, kid. You gotta pay first."
"There's no need to yell," Simon said, gritting his teeth. "I wasn't stealing. I was going to pay for it."
"You'd better, punk. You can't just pick up a paper and read at my stand. You have to pay before you read. I'm trying to run a business here. If you want to read for free, you go the library, you stupid- Woah!"
The vendor was surprised as one of the magazines on the rack next to him suddenly caught fire. He snatched it up and tossed in on the ground, then proceeded to stomp it out.
"Shit! How did that happen?" he wondered aloud.
"Must be all this dry heat," Simon said. He fished some coins out of his pocket and put them on the counter. "There you go. Have a nice day."
Simon turned and walked away. The vendor watched him go. Growing suspicious, he walked over to a nearby payphone and picked it up.
"Operator? Get me the police."
----------------
Bill. You awake?
"Mmm..."
We just got a tip. It looks like we may have found that renegade super. We'll drop you near the last place he was spotted. Eye-witnesses described him as a young man, about 5-foot-10, medium build, short brown hair. Find him.
"...Alright."
And do your worst.
"...Hehehe. You don't have to tell me. I was going to."

Down the street from the news vendor, a black van pulled over on the side of the road. A single man in an orange jump suit got out, and the van sped away. The man was none other than Butcher Bill.
He stood just under 7 feet tall, over 300 pounds of solid muscle. He had a shaved head, covered in gruesome-looking scars. He had a tatoo of a bar code on the back of his skull, and on his right arm, a picture of an antique dagger with an ornate skull on the handle, and blood dripping from the tip of the blade.
Bill slowly breathed in and out, looking slowly around the area. He grinned slightly, then turned and began walking down the sidewalk at a slow but steady pace. As he went, absolutely everyone moved out of his way.

Hero: Multitude
Name: Robert "Rob" Ganes Age: 32 Height: 6' 2" Weight: 210 Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Brown Costume: A faded pliceman's uniform and badge
Powers: -Can create mulitple copies of something for a short period of time, depending on how heavy and large it is. -Trained his skills extensively when he was in the NYPD before the war.
Weaknesses: -Reckless and sometimes careless with his powers, particularly when off-duty -Is almost zealous in his drive to catch and punish villians, occasionally breaking off from his group to do so -Won't fight around civilians
Backround: Rob grew up in Hell's Kitchen, a poor kid from a poor family. He discovered his powers very early on, and used them originally for... unscrupulous activities. One of his favorite tricks was to take one dollar and mulitply it, concentrating on it long enough to buy something and then leaving the scene quickly before whoever had taken the money realized he'd been had. Rob alwats stayed clean, though, and he grew up vowing to help his community from heading down the path of crime.
Thus began Rob's career as a cop. He pursued his job vigourously, making his way up the police ladder until he ultimately ended up as a police detective of the highest regard. He became a role-model both to other cops and the citizens of his neighborhood, keeping his powers in relative check unless the situation called for them. That was, until, one day he was called to investigate the home of a suspected meth-dealer. He and his partner busted down the door of the dingy apartment to find this place stocked floor-to-ceiling with lab equipment. The perp was home, and got two rounds off before jumping out the window and running down the fire escape. The .45 slugs hit his long time friend and partner, Herb Rofson, in the leg and knee, respectively. Rob pursued, chasing the guy down an alley. In a fit of rage, Rob took aim and fired his service revolver. His power kicked in, and the former drug-dealer was ripped nearly in half by a hail of .38 bullets, most of which disspated. A stray caused what the papers called "A near-tragedy," and "Police Recklessness in Using Deadly Force," hitting a little boy just below the shoulder and putting him in critical condition for two days, and was saved only because the bullet hadn't been in existence long enough to fracture and spread shrapnel throughout the body. Ganes was put into early retirement shortly afterward.
In recent history, Multitude has been in several resistance/vigilante groups, fighting the new threat of the supervillian regime. He still takes a very zealous approach to his work, but was scarred by the near accident which almost left that little kid dead, and will now no longer fight around noncombatants, a weakness used against him several times.

ooc: You in Grig.
ic: "Knock knock."
"I'm not doing this."
Klown hopped up on the rail and twisted his head around to face Hollowpoint, his rubber like body allowing him to twist into many positions.
"Why don't you turn that frown." His head inverted "Upside down?"
Hollowpoint hit him with his rifle, temporarily deforming his face.
"Just get back to your watch."
Jack Decker was across the street at a rooftop cafe watching the two bickering Villains. Almost four. Time to get to work. Discarding his jacket Jack took a leap off the rooftop transforming in mid air into his alter-ego Mr Molecular. His blue uniform and silver skin gleaming in the sunlight.
"Over there!" Klown cackled as he watched the hero streak towards them.
"Air unit move in!" Hollowpoint yelled into his radio. A police helicopter soon arrived tracking Mr Molecular.
"Send in the Klown." Klown lept off the building grabbing onto a pair of flagpoles, stretching himself out like a slingshot and propelling himself towards his opponent.
Jack paused in mid air, standing perfectly calm as the cackling lunatic launched himself. But as he reached him, Klown passed right through him. Jack turned to grab him by the leg.
"Hey! Let go you bully!"
Jack turned to face the helicopter. "No problem." Still holding on to Klown, he spun in the air building up momentum before throwing his opponent towards the spinning blades.
"Oh no." He connected with the chopper, his elasticity powers protecting him from everything but getting wrapped around the rotor.
"I hate clowns." Suddenly, rifle fire cut into his shoulder. Grabbing a patch from his belt Jack quickly sealed the wound, then flew towards Hollowpoint landing next to him.
"Eat this!" Hollowpoint let loose on full auto. The bullets suddenly pinging off Jacks now diamond hard body. When he ran out Jack energised his fists.
"Wait! Aren't you going to read me my rights?"
Jack grabbed him by the collar.
"You're the cops now. Remember?"
Jack punched him out. Then turned to watch the other rebels rain their pamphlets onto the streets. Mission acomplished.

Simon looked up from the paper to watch the commotion nearby. As he watched the clownish villain collide with the helicopter, he couldn't help but smirk. Most of the other people on the sidewalk stopped to watch as well. Simon noticed one man in particular didn't stop, though. A rather large, imposing man with a shaved head.
Simon turned and started walking away, trying not to draw attention to himself. He discreetly grabbed one of the fliers that rained down from above and shoved it in his pocket, then turned into an alley and hid, watching to see where the rebels would go.

Standing in the nearby ally watching the fight I lean against the wall as some guy comes walking towards me, and then hid.
Wondering what his purpose was for hiding I concentrate on the air around my hand as I close it into a fist, with my kind of ice forming around my fist, the shear cold radiating from it. As an after thought I form spikes on the knuckles of the ice.
I continue leaning against the wall out of plain site, watching the new guy.

OOC- sorry i thought we were all supposed to be like a justice league or something uneder your two characters. nvm then ill redo my first post here. I also added background to my character profiles.
IC- Rock Slide, stood in the elevator descending to the lobby of the hotel he had been staying at. He needed money and he didn't care how he got it. The elevators opened and there stood 3 hotel security workers. uh oh, they must have seen him on a security camera he'd missed, oh well.
"Sir, you are not booked as a guest in this hotel. You owe us 400 dollars for the time you have been here and you will be taken to the courts to decide what your punishment will be." The largest of the guards said.
Jack Crusine smiled, opened his mouth to speak, then was gone, a strong wind gusting through the lobby of the high class hotel.
He stopped a way down the street in the shadows so as not to draw to much attention, then slowly stepped out blending in to the crowd as strange pamphlets rained down from the sky.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Karn started to order a few minions about, their incompetence overwhelming his already impatient nerves. He grabbed one's head in his hand, and shot spikes out of his hand and threw the skull, then he retracted them as the other minions looked on in terror.
"Get down to the hotels that just called. They said they were about to arrest a suspected super when he disappeared. You know what that means men. We've finally got a job to do." He grinned and headed out the door, his minions following as a few servants took care of the body.

Sin watched the later part of the scene from a viewscreen in his office, two nervous looking aides were beside him. With the fearomones it was hard enough talking to the Doctor when he wasn't angry.
"What's the damage?"
"We lost a helicopter, we're still trying to disconnect Klown from the wreckage and Hollowpoint sustained serious burns to the face. and the rebels distrbuted several thousand pamphlets to the people."
The Doctor clutched his chest and leaned on the table for support. His mutation was acting up.
"How did rebels beat to supers?"
The second aide handed over some photos.
"It was this man sir.....we..we're running it through the records now."
Sin looked at the photos. His old enemy had resurfaced.
"Never mind, just send Klown and Hollowpoint to the chocolate factory, they've failed the cause....you, wait here."
The first aide left, the second approached his leader nervously.
"Do...you need anything Doctor?"
"I'm....getting..HUNGRY!"
With blinding speed the Doctor turns and takes a bite out of the mans throat, screams echo throughout the building, before being blocked out by an inhuman roar.

DC would be looking at the pitiful specimens before her from atop her throne, her chocolate fingers drumming on the armrest as she considered what to do with them, her other hand - or rather, paw - being used to rest her chin on. In the background, the sound of heavy industry could be heard, mixed with the occasional scream or cry for mercy, along with the crack of a whip.
The room was dark, lit only by a pair of guttering torches on either side of the throne Dark Chocolate was perched upon... and yet the blue lollipop like swirls on the dark purple floor seemed to be glowing, as if by UV light. DC herself would be flanked on all sides by her chocolate Bunnie underlings, either holding plates of nibbles and whines, or just watching the two unfortunates kneeling on the floor before them.
"You two" She told the shackled Klown and Hollowpoint, "Are failures! Disgraces! Unfit to even be CONSIDERED minions!" She let her eyes bore into them, causing them to squirm under her gaze, Hollowpoint's chains clinking while Klown, his rubber arms stretched round and tied together like a straight-jacket, made rubbery squeaky noises. "Normally I would have you marched into the parade-ground and summarily executed!" A paw pointed toward the window, where a courtyard could be seen in the middle of the slums surrounding the factory, a huge melting pot in the center. "But that would not do. For as pathetic as you are, you are supposed to be peacekeepers, and it would not do for any more Civilians to see that you can be bested.
She stood, giving a little stretch and then slowly padding down the steps from her throne, a pair of Bunnygaurds lifting a fur coat onto her shoulder. Someone attentive might notice the Justice League tattoo on the left upper arm. It seems the ex-hero Tigera had been one of DC's "Special Guests" at some point. "Now, I have no doubt that my Bunnycorps would kill you just with the training program, but it don't want to sully their paws with such GARBAGE as yourself. However, I believe I do have SOMETHING you'd be good for..."
She reached the bottom of the steps and paused for a moment, one over-sized foot tap tapping... before she slowly reached out to a nearby lever set into the ground, grasped the lock release and gave the terrified Klown a wink... Before yanking the lever, the trapdoor beneath the rubber man opening up and sending him plummeting into the darkness below.
At first there were no noises other than Klown's high pitched screams... but then there was a roar, more screaming, a stretching noise... and then, simultaneously, a pop and a squelch. And no more.
"Mnrr.. Good to see Snookums has a new squeaky toy." She said, leaning over the peer into the hatch as it closed again. "Well, two squeaky toys now." She gave a mock wince... and then turned to Hollowpoint, padding slowly closer.
"As for you, my dear..." Her paw alighted on the bound man's shoulder... and began to melt, the living chocolate spreading over his chest and up his neck, towards his head. Her other paw went to her belt... drawing out a yellow, transparent knife. "I believe something a little more drawn out and.. personal is in order."
It was hard to tell if DC's maniacal laughter or Hollowpoints screams were the loudest.

Multitude and the small band of rebels he was with ran stealthily threw an old, decrepit building. Their mission was to destroy a government propaganda center, but were now thrown a bit off track when a police patrol had nearly spotted them. It was becoming harder and harder to get around these days...
"There!" One of Multitude's companions, Eagle-eye, shouted out. As his name described, he had excellent vision and there was no more a precise shot than him. Rob could barely see the center down the street a couple blocks, but his vision was thankfully unimpaired by civilians.
"Alright," he started, "we're going to cross the street here and move through those buildings to get the drop on the station. Us three will hold of any police that wander by while Nightstalker plants the C4. Then we escape south through the subway tunnel over there." He pointed to a terminal. "Any questions?" There were none.
They crossed the street and moved through the buildings with relative ease, despite man-tanks's size, and came to a window overlooking the station. It had been an old radio station, but was refitted and fortified for the new government's purposes. Several uniformed policeman, sporting sub-machineguns, stood guard, but the was no sign of any police supers.
"Alright. Eye's, you find a good poisiton and pick off any guards that need be. Stalks, you cloak and plant the explosives near that generator somewhere, and be wary of heat sensors! Tanks, you and me are gonna cause a little distraction. Everybody got that?" Heads nodded. "Good. Let's move."
Two minutes later...
Rob and Tanks stepped nonchalantly out onto the street, Tank's hulking body all but obscured by a dumpster lid he was carrying. Rob gave a sharp whistle.
"Hey! Morons! Over here!"
Most of the guards in the station looked over at the pair. Most gave a confused look, then leveled their weapons.
"Tanks, now!"
The giant lowered the lid as the police opened fire. Bullets pinged off of the thick metal surface. As instructed, he held it a few inches above the ground and Rob dropped down on his belly, taking aim with his .38 Special. He got a bead a a small group hiding behind a short sand bag wall, and fired, concentrating on the bullet. He hit two of the officers as a wave of bullets impacted.
"Steady as she goes, Tank!"
That was when Eagle-Eye opened fire. A steady stream of powerful Crack!s filled the air for a couple secondse and 3 more officers dropped. the firefight continued for a minute and the opposition continued to thin in this fashion. So far so good...
A figure rocketed around the corner of tall apartment building behind them. Rob looked and saw another uniformed figure... only hovering about 20 feet in the air. A large growth on his back spat fire down towards the ground like a...
"They call me Jetpack, nice to meetcha! Hahahaha!" The hovering figure called out in a mad voiced and cackled some hysterical laughter, then pointed his machine gun in their direction and opened fire. The high velocity slugs ripped into the ground in front of them as both turned to confront the new threat. Man-Tank tossed the lid, but Jetpqack nimbly wove left to avoid it.
"You resistance idiots, toss whatever you like! But you'll be dead before you hit anything but air!" At this he fired another burst that nearly tore apart Rob's shoulder. He yelled to Man Tank.
"Tanks, I'm outta ammo! Throw that Buick at 'im!"
Man Tank looked frantic. "But he'll dodge it-"
"THROW THE DAMN CAR!"
Man-Tank picked up the old Buick and gave it a heavy toss. It sailed through the air dead-on towards Jetpack's position, but he moved to dodge again.
"Idi-!" He began to shout, but was crushed by the flying copy-car Rob had made at the last second. The body flew into a wall and fell limply to the ground.
"Let's go!" Rob shouted, and the two hustled to the subway station. It was thankfully empty. It wasn't long before two female faces appeared as well: Nightstalker and Eagle-Eye. The latter sported a bleeding hole in her shoulder.
"Went right through." She said and she patted it softly. "Probably gonna be fine if we bandage it quickly." Rob nodded and turned to Stalks.
"And the C4?"
She smiled. "Set it up on the genny, like you said, set for 5 minutes. Nobody ever saw me, and there were only a few sensors to take out."
Rob sighed. "Alright, let's get out of here before back-up arrives." The four of them hustled out of sight and an explosion ripped through the block a few minutes later.

A group of Anti-men soldiers entered the office to check the disturbance, only to find Doctor Sin in perfect health. No sign of the aide though.
"Sir? We heard screaming."
"Of course you did. What else could it have been?"
"...are you bleeding sir?"
Sin wiped a trickle of blood from his chin before getting back to work.
"It isn't mine."
At this point the soldiers thought it best to leave. The Doctor activated a viewscreen.
"Get me Dark Chocolate. I want to discuss our trade for the week."
***************************************************
Decker had made it back to his base. A United Justice bunker hidden in the subway tunnels. Couldn't be found unless you knew where to look.
"This is rebel cell Forgotten Justice. Making my daily report." Jack spoke into his radio.
"Proceed."
"Mission sucessful, scratch off two class C supers and a helicopter. Probably give us another day of clear operations in this area before they're replaced."
"Roger Forgotten Justice. We hope to hear from you later."
Jack hung up and grabbed his coat, time for some time off topside.

OOC: When that bomb goes off wont it like, kill the civilians running the propaganda center? I mean, you cant really expect Dr Doom to sit around making his own posters... Anyhoo... IC: DC straightened up again, licking the blade of the knife and putting it back into her belt. It was a good thing the dim light meant that you couldn't see what was on it... She nodded to her henchmen, who dragged what remained of Hollowpoint off for processing, and then slowly ascended her throne once more. "Mnrf... while that did break the tedium..I cant say it lasted as long as I'd like..." As if on cue, the intercom beeped. "Hmm? Who could that be?" She asked, frowning a little and depressing the button.. before grinning widely and clapping her paws together as the monitor turned on to reveal... "Sinny! Hehe, hows the cutest megalomaniac in all the land? Hehe." She giggled girlishly. Weird "How can I help you today?" OOC: Unf, weak post. Nite all.

A vein throbbed in Sins head as he chatted with Dark.
"Hello...Bunny." He greeted somewhat forced.
Some said that he was disturbed that somebody could be more imaginative than he, some said the concept of muderous candy boggled even his mind...a small amount spoke of an open unmarked jar full of what where thought to be wine gums, which might explain the three days the Doctor once went without talking (although you could never be sure).
"Just another exchange, I'm going to need some of your special...ingredients. Here's my payment."
With a few button presses the doctor sent over several prisoner transfer forms for a rebel cell arrested earlier in the week, including members of the former Super team 'Street Sheriffs'. All that was needed was DCs signature.
"Are we satisfied?"
