EDIT: Changed the title because I think it scared people. EDIT2: another wiirdo on the boards.Gary Jules didn't have this in mind... I'm not sure how I haven't ranted and/or raved about this game yet, but I've been playing MadWorld on the wii for a little while now. You know all those movies and crap where they don't want to use any copyrighted game franchise's name, so the characters are playing some random murder sim called Bloody Gorey Over-the-Top Okay-We-Get-It-Videogames-Are-Violent III: The Legend of Curly's Gold? Well, that's kind of what this game is. All the game art and graphics have only three colors: black and white, and RED. Really red. Lots and lots of red. Click for IGN video reviewI wasn't sure what I'd think of this, but I'm really getting into it. The Castle stage seems especially relevant to our forumgoers, since you get to fight zombies, and go all Bruce-Campbell on them with your chainsaw.

No Wii here, really. For the same reason I don't have a PS3, either: I like to keep my spastic controller flailing confined to playing party games and Air Traffic Controlling, thanks

Understandable. I'll admit, I probably wouldn't have a wii either if I didn't get it as a gift. But I've taken the acquisition in stride, obviously. There are a lot of crappy shovelware TM games for wii, but once in a while you'll find a diamond in the rough; this, Warioland, Deadly Creatures, and of course No More Heroes. My sights are now trained on this game for future obsessing: wii.ign.com/dor/objects/828151/marvelous-interactive-project/videos/muramasa_review_090409.html

What? No Raving Rabbid World Tour? I've played it at a friend, so long as you have three buddies to play it with it makes for a really fun party game.
Though, whoa o.o Demon Blade does look pretty badass. Though i cant help but notice that's because, apparently, it uses the buttons instead of the motion sensitivity that usually kills Wii games, and sometimes even PS3 games.

Naw, nawww.... my nieces have a Wii.
Though, they never play it. They prefer my Xbox 360.

I now also own a Wii. Game recommendations stat! Depends on what you're into. There are some good light-gun-esque shooters, I've heard Dead Space on the wii is good. Avoid anything that looks too little-kiddy, because odds are it sucks, with a few exceptions. If you're happier using your old Gamecube controller, Muramasa and Super Smash Bros. are good. If you like action/adventure games, I still highly recommend No More Heroes (the sequel's due later this month), a little number called Deadly Creatures (rent it; it's pretty short), and at least watch some videos of MadWorld, or rent it since you can probably beat it in about 5 hours. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is cool if you're into that series. I haven't tried Super Mario Galaxy, but people rave about it, as well as Super Paper Mario and New Super Mario Bros. If you're after party games, Mario Kart is probably a good idea, as would be Rabbids Go Home, or at least that's what I hear. Now, some warnings: remember when I talked about Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers? Yeah, that was mainly a joke. Rent it if you're curious, but don't buy it. Also avoid Battle of the Bands and Wii Music if you know what's good for you. You probably want to avoid Baroque as well. I was a little obsessed with this one for a while, but it's like a toxic relationship in the form of software. You'll either hate it right away and stop playing, or hate it right away and suffer through it anyway to learn the rest of the story, only to end up hating it more later. To sum up, there is a lot of crap for the wii, with a few hard-to-find gems scattered around. I highly recommend reading reviews and watching videos before you make any purchase you're not sure about.

Own Twilight Princess, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros.
Use the Wiimote just for Zelda. I can't quite get to grips with it. I've not needed/used motion detection since... ever.
