Ok well first i op for a trading/giving system. Maybe at the cost of 1AP or none. People n the same area can give one another objects or trade for stuff. Lets say my friend has no ammo and i have a good stockpile of ammo. Instead of him spending a nice chunck of AP to look for more i can just give him some of mines.
Another is and i have seen it on board is sniping. Now it is a good idea but there have to be requirements for it to be even. number 1 you an only to it from tall buildings and towers. The chance to hit will be 40% if you are alone but when you have a player with you that has binoculars you can bump it up to a 60% chance as the other player can be a spotter. This is something that may need to be tinkered with. And will the sniper rifle be a 5 shot or shall we make it a 10.
Another thing is a upgrade in weapons. If we aren't going to let humans have a accuracy increase the least we can do is give them more bullets OR slight damage boost. since the damage is only 5/10 points "4/8 if the opponent is wearing a flak jacket" You can even put it as the military dropping air crates to support the military that is in malton. (half of the population of survivors is military after all.)
Really that is all the living need to stay alive longer.
Zeds are in essence Already stronger then need be. They don't die have a ability that makes them stand up for one point have a ability to bite someone and infect them And if you have it biting a survivor gives you HP back. Even if you die a few times to get to us Zombies ultimately have a leg up. It takes a survivor 30 AP or more to kill a zed and 6 AP for a zed to get up and move 5 blocks to start tearing down a barricade. Sure the humans can run but then the zombie can break in a ransack a place making it near unusable till repaired. Zombies that are well organized can just slowly overwhelm the living. If zombies need anything it would be a slight stronger attack is all. Or even a barricade buster ability. But even then when you have 10 zombies outside a building. The barricade tends to go down pretty fast.
When i look at it most of the time Humans have no fighting chance. When we see a zombie and we don't have much we run away. And zombies pursue us like dogs on the hunt.
I know alot of you won't agree with this but it seems fair to me.
