Hi, I'm a newbie
So, killing a 50HP zombie takes like 20-40 APs (including the time you search for ammo) depending on what weapon you are using and your skills. I know that an AP equals 30 minutes. So if you like roleplaying that means you spend 600-1200 minutes killing a zombie. Which sounds ridicilous. It breaks the most popular "A single shot to the head is all you need" rule which is applied in every zombie movie and game. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just a newb and this is my "first look" on the game.
And a zombie spends 15 AP (or even less with the ankle grap skill) to get up.
Then why spend those APs "killing" a zombie? It doesn't slow them down much. I don't get it.

You're not alone. Many people have hated that, but it kind of makes some sense for game dynamics. Being able to one-shot a zombie would make them pretty ineffectual, and given they're all played by people, those people would likely get pissed off at how lame they are and quit.
Even so, the very dynamics the game is built on are questionable. A pure PVP game has plenty of pitfalls, this being one of them.

Though I still think the cost for getting up should be more than just a few APs for zombies. Like starting from a cemetry far away or exp loss.

Originally, the Headshot skill did cause xp loss to the zombie hit by it. It was changed because players wouldn't stop bawwing about it. I think now it makes them spend more AP to stand up (though it's still not much for those with Ankle Grab). The starting-from-a-cemetery bit was suggested before, but never implemented. I always thought it was a good idea; I forget why it was always shot down.

It was shot down because any zombie raids would've been hurt harder by spawning back near a cemetary, plus no survivors would go near cemetaries if it were the case. New zombie players would've been hard done by, since their high AP costs for getting back up combined with finding prey who are nowhere near the cemetaries would have been a slow grind.
