I just started playing on Tuesday, chose the survivors. I've managed to get myself killed. YAY!
Is there anything that I can change in my profile that will speed up the wait in the revive line? If not, what is the accepted distance from the RP that I can attack zeds for XP while I'm waiting?

To answer your first question, no. To answer your second question, it's always ok. They'd rather be killed by a fellow mrh-cow just looking for xp than some dumbass survivor with headshot and an itchy trigger finger.

To the first, I do find that putting "please revive- insert reason here" in your zombie description does seem to speed up revives. Then again, I'm good at finding revive points and using revive requests, so it could be I'd get them as fast without. My usual reason is "have needles, want to revive others." And its usually the truth, too. To the second- yup, getting whacked by a fellow zombie is no big deal. If you have the choice, munch on somebody who has Ankle Grab (this requires contact listing them when they talk or some such), and be sure to actually KILL them, not just wound. It will only cost them 1 AP to stand up. Also, a zombie that says "Brnhr?" is generally asking (literally) to be eaten as well- often because they have low HPs and want to avoid a headshot.
