I know it may sound stupid but it give survivors only a few benifets and a few flaws.
Suvivor skill: Drive (Civillan) Lets you drive Car: Found in auto repair shops 1%, steets 1%
Recuires feul has p to 75 ap's worth you can plug in a radio trassmitter can hold 5 people (4 if trassmiter is set up) The founder of this vehicale has the keys to it (only contacts can get in car).
Hp: 30 The driver is the only one who uses ap the passengers may rest. While in the vehicale you can not attack unless you have a ranged weapon but you get a -10% hit chance. Obviosy while in a vehicale you can not enter a buliding if you what to enter a building a passinger in the can may take the wheel or if it is left uoccipiad a zombie may destroy it or a suvivor with the hijake skill may steal it.
Bus: Found on the Streets 0.5% chance. Requires One can of petrol for every 50 squares moved. Can hold a radio transmitter, decorations and up to 12 people. HP: 50 Cannot attack without a ranged weapon and has a -15% chance to hit.
Subway: Allows you to move from one point on the map to another if a subway station is present in 1 AP but there must be a working generator at each end of the line. Zombies or humans without generators can walk down the tracks if they wish for 1 Ap but there is a 3% chance of getting hit by a train.

Umm... No
There are many more humans than zombies, and besides, they can FREE RUN while us zombies are left battering at the barricades all day. Hell, when we start off, we even have a penalty to movement. No vehicles.
Alsew, spel chuk is veerey usful.

Well, vehicles aren't the most fair things to have.
First off- the passengers, with the wrong driver they could end up...well, up the creek.
Secondly, you didn't seem to think the numbers through too well for searching. 1% for cars? It's not like scrounging up a shotgun shell. It's a car.
and third, why do you need generators on the subway if you just walk down the tracks? Who is driving the trains that hit you?

I think you could make it so there is a benefit to zombies, make it a child skill of MoL, and make Zombies able to use the vehicles and maybe in some cases use as weapons against barricades in a one off chance if the barricades are below a certain point of destroying them.
Also up the chance of finding them, and further with yet another skill or so. something like "Vehicle Mechanics" zombies would lack this skill, but if a car is just sitting there they can bust in and commandeer it if they kill everyone inside.
Cars would only read as a car on the map with no difference between a zombie vehicle and a survivor vehicle.
And um... who the hell is driving that train?
Maybe if the trains were actually being driven and if people were on the tracks when it drove past, then it could hit them, maybe kill them.

There we go! I was thinking the biggest problem with the Car would be when you go 50 squares into zombie coutry and then ran out of petrol, it doesn't actually say how much is left in the car. And on the wrong driver problem, they shouldn't get into the car with strangers, their parent should have taught them better .

And on the wrong driver problem, they shouldn't get into the car with strangers, their parent should have taught them better . So are the carjackers their fault too?

well sorry that i had to type it late at night! And what do you mean 'um... no' you guys don't think things over zombies have a equally fair chance with a pkers and humans helping you! Call me silly, but something that appears to be a moving barricade hardly benefits zombies, unless they get a skill so THEY can use it too. PK'ers arent really that much of a help, and im not entirley sure how non PK humans can help a zombie... also, i cant help but notice that you can only attack with ranged weapons, which zombies are notorious for not having. The number of zombies you find roving the streets in bandanas with glocks busting caps in humies' ass, yo, is unsurprisingly zero, so zombies can only attack if they leave the car. Hrmm. Besides, i doubt Malton has streets that are clear enough for cars - let alone buses - to force their way down. Theres allways gonna be crap in the way, maybe even other cars. Though the subway idea could be interesting. No trains, though, i agree...

when i say ''only can attack with ranged weapons'' i mean the passengers, zombies can claw all they want and yes, zombies could have a skill to drive. as an upgarade to memories of life
