Okay, just make a thread in the OOC UD discussion section and we'll answer your questions as they come.

I was told to try and find things in a mall that would be a good place to start. I found that it was extremely barricaded and no way to enter. when it says stuff like that can you attack the barricades and eventually get in?

I was told to try and find things in a mall that would be a good place to start. I found that it was extremely barricaded and no way to enter. when it says stuff like that can you attack the barricades and eventually get in? I wouldn't recommend it. Odds are you'll run out of AP long before you can get in, and the people inside will just get pissed at you anyway. If you don't have Free-Running, you're better off just avoiding the malls for now. There's nothing in there you need that can't be found somewhere else. Plus, malls are major targets, so they're really not always as safe as they seem. If you're just starting out, you should probably hang out in hospitals and heal wounded people for experience. Other than that, it depends on what class you started with. Whatever your strong suit is (dna extractor, guns, ax), you'll probably have to stick to that until you can get more skills.

I started off as a cop, so I'm not really sure what I should be doing. I have gotten a few xp already by attacking zombies and leaving before they kill me.

I started off as a cop, so I'm not really sure what I should be doing. I have gotten a few xp already by attacking zombies and leaving before they kill me. Cop is a tough starter class. Right now, attacking zeds and running is about the best thing you can do. Just check your ammo before you go outside, and save enough AP to get inside before you log off. Once you have enough experience, get Free Running. You'll be able to get into the malls and other heavily fortified buildings that way. From there, you could either improve your firearms skills, get Diagnosis so you can see when other survivors could use a heal, or the shopping skills so you can find things in the mall more easily. Do whatever makes the most sense.

Yep, my first alt is a cop too, the first 3 levels are hard, but once you get Advanced Pistol training (go pistol before shotgun, you get 30 dmg out of the pistol, and they weigh less) it's really easy to level up. Just be a "tranchcoater," but a smart one. Run out, shoot zombies till you level or have 10-15 AP, and get back in and reload/search. Got to level 11 like that pretty quickly.

Yeah but get free running first, it is probably the most valuable skill as a survivor
