I'm a fan of Robert Carlyle, but they better kill of those kids quickly. Every kid in a horror movie means one more minority has to die.

Still, in Night of the Living Dead, they didn't say anything about the zombies.
In 28, the "zombies" are just infected people. Infected with a completely different virus, known only as "Rage."

- Main cities are deserted.
- Psycho military goons after the women.

28 Days Later is, in all spirit, a zombie movie. They just choose to use a different type of zombie that isn't actually dead.
