Original RE screenplay by George Romero

I dunno bout the rest a y'all, but I just found out that THE George Andrew (XD yeah I found out that was his middle name in the process, too) Romero actually wrote the original script for the first Resident Evil movie. According to Answers.com, it garnered positive critical acclaim before the company made the MISTAKE of denying it for the shit that we now know.

He initially declined, stating in an interview, "I don't wanna make another film with zombies in it, and I couldn't make a movie based on something that ain't mine", although in later years he reconsidered and wrote a script for the first movie. While many were impressed with the script (which garnered positive reviews), it was eventually rejected in favor of Paul W.S. Anderson's treatment.

Okay they just picked Anderson's script cause it's more mainstream and less story driven. Personally, I'm glad Romero didn't RE, cause he's God with his OWN franchise.

But I gotta say this (and I know many of you are gonna hate me for this): REMEMBER this is just my OPINION, okay? First of all, let's get it straight that I love George Andrew Romero for his Dead series, and if he were before me at this moment I would be (insert humiliating thingy here) at this very moment, but PERSONALLY---I think his shit wasn't perfect (especially dialogue-wise with his latter movies). I love it all and everything, but I seriously could write waaaay better stuff.

With that said, now its time to try to reclaim what reputation I have left and state this riddle:

Who would win in a fight--Romero or God?

Answer: Trick question! Cause Romero IS God!
