I got the books.
Isla Sorna, 200 odd miles off Costa Rica, originally planned as a large scale breeding ground and research centre. Abandon following the collapse of the park, and a spring in velociraptor population keeps the other breeds in equilibrium.
EDIT: Oh yeah, a geo thermal power source keeps several pieces of equipment running. Even after the evacuation.

I'll have to write more supernatural RPs khal, I enjoy your writings on lychanthropy. Maybe you could try something like a Wendigo next time.
After Jurrasic park, a supernatural/criminal thriller would be nice, y'know hitmen and stuff like that with mythical portions, demons, angels, vampires, werewolves, the undead, Lovecraft's work or unusual powers.
Maybe the Nexus war players would enjoy it.

Wendigo, someone becomes a wendigo after performing cannibalism in the wilderness. Kind of like a werewolf, except almost unkillable.
The Hulk and Wolverine from the X-men fought one. and Sabretooth wears a pelt from one.

Wait, then that means I......nevermind!
But seriously, kind of a supernatural thriller RP would be great.

That does not mean you can be Cthulhu. A servent or some hellish spawn, but not the big guy.
I'm thinking, maybe Present day New York for the setting. The Coney island amusement park is a good place for a fight.

Hey, just because I happen to be his medium on this board doesn't mean I want to be him in the RP!
Also, Ty, Cthulhu says he's sorry for your loss...or he would be, if he hadn't caused it.
Also, for future reference, I don't care what the New Hampshire police say, I have never become a wendigo...or any other cannibalistic creature.

I've thought plot wise, that the supernatural element should not be publicly known, but a few people could have suspicions.
Khallos also suggested secretive groups that know of the supernatural, and have their own agenda (either conspirators, hate groups, or government agencies) who may just be as 'unusual' as the rest.

Or, we could just rip off Urban Arcana from Wizards of the Coast.
Basicly, everyone, save for a few, automaticly ignore the supernatural things that have integrated themselves into society, because their fragile little minds can't handle the truth. That troll, nah, he's a security guard!

That's just crazy talk.
Otherwise, the plot seems good, I just need a good time to start it.

I'd rather not do another RP in any major city. Creepy North Eastern Country sides are better when the fog goes in for the atmosphere of the classical supernatural. We can go to the city, but usually cities block in the creative mind early on usually. Especially if it is a supernatural thing that a lot of people have no clue about.
And as for a reason people don't know about it, think like in Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy and the "Somebody else's problem field" in which people ignore things because it is so out of the ordinary and unexpected, and if they see anything it is out of the corner of their eyes. Just for some crazy explanation for why people don't know about it. Sort of like some those strange Cthulu Mythos creatures that I can't remember the name of.

Good point, how about along several country and desert towns? Not too close but not too far either.

Yeah, not really in any specific place, there are several cities around but mostly country.
Country = Creepy, see grigs picture for proof.
Especially country far, far, away from cities.

We're not monster-creey, though, and that's what your lookin for.
And I realy don't want to do a Deliverance RP.

Yeah but where will monsters hide?
Away from people, where do all the cultists go, countryside, where do all the freaks and farmers go, the countryside.
Countryside = atmosphere, the cthulu mythos was set in a creepy town, by country side I don't mean the middle of nowhere, but a creepy county or two with towns and cities.

Sounds good. Oh, BTW, Cthulhu has informed me that he likes the fact that you all are saying his name so much on this thread. He says keep up the good work.

I suppose that sounds right, so we're gonna need a creepy country town (preferably with with a seaboard), and possibly a crazy drunken man or two.

Honestly guys, I didn't expect this to be plain supernatural. I was hoping to get some criminal elements, brutal gunfights and hitmen, gangs and stuff like that. Kind of like Preacher or The Stand (without the post apocalypse) or something. Otherwise it's just going to end up a 'who's done it'. We can do it in a country town if we need to, but not too out in the country.

Hell, I just want to leap off a building, or throw someone off. How about somewhere like nevada? Vegas, nice large city, with open deserts and smaller towns.
By the way, Jurrasic park RP being up and all. Cna anyone tell me the name of those spitting dinosaurs from the movie? I can't find anything on wiki, and I let a friend borrow the book.

Bipedal, small, but not too small. Green. and they had this frill round their necks. Made this rattle sound.
They killed the guy from seinfeld. Wayne knight.

During the heroes RP, are the characters ever going to meet up? I think it might be cool to have some interaction soon, but Europe's such a big place, I'm not sure how we'd justify meeting. At least, it wouldn't be easy for me.

Some characters can, I don't think they'll all get together.
Dammit, the same thing happened with my last WW2 Rp.
better see how it goes.

Hell, my guy's in Africa. However, France seems to be where the highest percentage of people are right now, so everybody try to lean in that direction.
