I thought Edwin Starr sang that.

Never heard of him. But I do know that it was most definitely the James Brown who sang War, What is it Good For. I did abbreviate it, and just War could be a whole n'other song, but that's not the one I was talking about.
My Sharona, by The Ramones.

No, War was sung by Edwin Starr. Shame he died...especially as it was 3 days before I was due to see him live. Selfish man that he was.
I'm currently listening to the Bugsy Malone & Transformer: The Movie (original) soundtrack. Stan Bush is a leg-end.

Listening to his new album right now.
He's very optimistic, but in a good way.

Post by grigori on Jul 18, 2007 17:00:53 GMT
I don't have an mp3. But yeah, most of the music I listen to is rock, and even then considerably less than most of my friends. Can't stand the heavy metal, screamy stuff though. Gimme some Bob Segar any day.
I do have Hammer on Limewire...
*Sirens a red lights flashing and wailing from out of nowehere*

So you're telling me I'm the only one with MC Hammer, Stan Bush & Kool & The Gang on their MP3? I think I have all of them on my mp3... And a ton of random industrial. But I would say the most typical white teen music in america these days is rap, "hip-hop", "R&B", and random other things relating to rap that mtv shoves down their throats and they think is cool.
