I do not like this song...if it can be called that. It isn't, really, more like an essay with some bad social commentary read by the most uninspired D-grade student any class has ever known (myself). The lyrics don't even rhyme (and don't tell me that there's a higher reason, because there isn't). I wouldn't even be upset except for the fact that it's played 15 TIMES A DAY on probably half the stations in the damn region.
Somebody please back me up on this.

I have never heard of it, but it sounds like it sucks.
If you can provide some form of linkage I can vote and make a more informed choice in the poll. Unlike most Americans...

I never really liked music, i kinda felt like it was just noise that sounds good or bad.If its screaming, i dont like it.if it techno with a good and trendy beat, sure I like it. But after hearing this song, I am starting to pay more attention to music, and I think I have a new appreciation for it.Sure, most songs are just noise, but I really think this song is (cliche incoming in 321) toasterwaffle. It really manages to capture a great story to a good song about the world today. On one side of the city, theres a charismatic ruler on his way to ruling the world.on the other? An ideal city with naive citizens, probably feeling oppressed by this new ruler. His best friend, who stayed in the city, leads the people to rebel. It DOES tell a story, if you cant hear it, your blind, and probably more than a little retarded.

The point is, I can hear it. It's not original, and has been told by every band worth noting over the past 30 years. Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, every other band that's ever done any sort of social commentary, etc etc etc. Only it's barely music.
I'm not railing on the people who like the song, only I wish some would look back a few years and take time to appreciate music at a time when it was decent. It's a terrible thing when a lot of people have never heard of some of the best music (imho) of our time.

Its original in the way it tells the story.
