What? No section for PC games? I have a scathing of Spore that I wrote for gamefaqs that I want to post. haha Well, not only that, but it would be a place that you could discuss PC games because (insert typical nerd)," You got to remember that Console Games are not PC games guys....gosh...."

I think the pc game section just got wiped for lack of activity. I think I'm just gonna get rid of this damn thing and make it a general games board.

Seeing as this is the only PC game thread...
Who plays what? Specifically, does anybody else play the online HL2 games/mods?

I've been really interested in pc gaming, but I've never had a decent computer that could run anything. Someday, I'll have a badass gaming rig and play online all the time, but until then I'll have to settle for my wii and whatever retro stuff I have random urges to play.

Yeah, I do have a sad computer. And as of late my gaming options are limited to SW:TFU, Spore, and WoW. So yeah...

Uh, I don't think that qualifies as a sad machine, IG. That means it's got, what? 1.5 gigs of RAM and maybe a 256 video card? And I'd guess a 3-something megahertz processor or close to it.

It's an Inspiron E1405 straight out of the box, with Vista installed any pluses because minuses. But Spore isn't as good as I thought that it would be.

Mine's a patch-together job a friend did for 300 bucks. 3.3 megahertz processor, a gig of RAM, and a new(ish) motherboard, ad an emachine case, though I don't think it has any of the original parts in it. Uses PCI Express video cards, which are cheap.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford one right now.

Argle. My wrath doth wax across the forums. Tts making a mess. My copy of Warhammer Online arrived in the post today... but the idiots at Parcleforce thought that since it has to be signed for the most logical time of day to deliver it is noon, seeing as everyone in the house is at work until at least 6PM. So now its off in a post office somewhere, and i cant get it.. because they're pretty much closed at the weekends and close at 5:30 during the week. Argh!

Meh. Warhammer is WoW with more emphasis on pvp and group content. As said by my friend. I think I will just stick with WoW and play WotLK when it comes out. Though it is probably going to suck.

I'm really looking forward to Fallout 3 as well.
Though it is just gonna be Oblivion in a post-apocalyptic setting with guns. But then again, that's exactly what I want it to be.

Sorry, it is. Is grinding involved? Are instances or dungeons involved? Are there raids? Battlegrounds?
It is freaking WoW with a different name and more emphasis on pvp and group content. And the reason I compare it to WoW is because WoW is the most popular MMO currently and most games are trying to be different than WoW. So meh.

But since you ignored the warning a punishment spewed from the depths of the pit is in order, crafted by a demented mad mans psyche. Grig, you're up.

Yeah, all I see are threats, not concrete evidence. All I am saying is that since WoW is the most popular MMO currently, every MMO that comes out better be ready to be compared to it. And my friends and I have described it as WoW, but more emphasis on pvp and group content.

And obviously yes, versing a whole regiment with one guy is suicide generally. So um hmm. Destructable towns though dude. Destructable towns.
