A lot of people in my Facebook app circle are installing this thing: www.exitreality.com/I started reading everything on the site, and it seems really interesting. The system specs are surprisingly modest, but I'm not sure if I want to try it yet. Has anyone seen this or installed it previously? There's been some speculation that it's just a scam, and the Facebook app is a virus of some kind, but I'm not sure. There is just too much work put into the website for it to be some cheap trick. No one is that pathological, right?

I want to see Proboards in 3d. I'm not sure if my feeble mind could handle it, though. Then again, I'm pretty sure 95% of sites on the internet would be NSFW if they were 3d-ified.

Apparently, Kan, you're not far off: arstechnica.com/software/news/2008/09/hands-on-exitreality-another-useless-3d-internet-tool.arsMeanwhile, the Facebook extension of this thing is spreading in a viral manner, which can never be a good thing. Granted, I'm in a friend circle with people who never turn down a new app, but considering there's nothing you can really do with it, and it sends a global notification every time someone adds the app, it doesn't bode well for the whole project.
