Was just playing R6V on Xbox Live, my teammate told us a story (while we were pwning Alpha team, of course) about a homey of his in Iraq having a crazy shootout against terrorists in an Iraqi town with fires and explosions and stuff, and he said there was some guy "running around" with his head on fire. They shot him seven times and he was still going about, and at one point he actually stopped and looked around; while his head was still on fire.
Rakk: A hope?
Scorp: A chance.

Well, he could've been high on PCP or something. I mean, my dad has a friend who saw the VC do that kind of thing in Vietnam.
Riiiight. PCP. Uh-huh. If you honestly thought I was seriously suggesting that, then go dunk your head in cold water. Clear it out. You'll need a clear mind when the zeds come!

Cocaine's a helluva drug. But it ain't gonna make you survive half a dozen gunshots while your cranium melts down to it's skull.
Er, unless you're Tony Montana... but like, is Tony Montana fighting alongside insurgents in Iraq? A huge, resounding NO, more than likely. Sooooo.... what are your guys plans?
I'm putting in my two bits and theorizing that Z-Day's gonna inch closer like Max Brooks foresaw, this time starting in the rural middle east. The infection'll slowly make it's way over here by chance when a wounded G.I. gets sent home and eventually reanimates, then the blight's gonna spread throughout the U.S. in Romero-fashion!
Plans: Umm.... hole up and hope for the best.

Well, c'mon, we've all gotta plan, don't we? Mine's to hole up in the local Wal-Mart, plenty of food and supplies, one glass entrance (the others designed to be hard to break in to), a garden center where you can grow your own food, and let's not forget a decent supply of guns and ammunition. I know the layout of the store fairly well.
Looting might be a big deal, yeah, but if it's starting to look like there'll be a great panic, I think we'll probably load up our big truck with supplies and head north into the UP. Not Canada, I figure most people will be heading there, and the UP only has two main overland routes, one of which is a bridge.

I propose we all fly to an island area like Rio or Fiji or Jamaica, overthrow the government and create a political stronghold/safe zone from the zombie crisis. I'm pretty sure an island nation could be defensible. We just have to heavily screen all incoming air and water transport, or maybe even close it completely if things are obviously getting worse abroad.

Canada sucks! >.> Walmart sounds like a good idea on your end, but as for me living in a medium-population suburban city, the nearest supermarket would be a death trap for looters and/or overcrowdedness.
With the unregulated gun exchange around here sifting through dozens of overly-rambunctious gang members, holing up in your own home is just asking for trouble... and then there's my problem of living with a lot of slow, out of shape friends and family members... *sigh* I'm screwed.
With the island idea, we'd have to have our base of operations built into a defensible mountain or a heavily-walled in compound, especially with the threat of zombies emerging from the beaches. As for actually getting to said island, somebody would have to like, get a plane or something... umm, I'ma leave that up to you, Ty. Scorp can help ya out, I'll provide the alcohol, Grig could be on firearms detail, Oct and Rakk can pick up Khal and Fallen, and Kanian can get in the way and make a big mess.

I thought I'd be on firearm duty with Grig!
Plus, I live nowhere near Fallen or Khall.

I think he means you'll all get your tasks done faster by focusing on your own hemispheres, then meeting at our new island nation. I'll get the plane if I can, but it'll have to be on my way east. I intend to meet a wizened old master who trains me to punch through skulls. wax on wax off grasshopper

Hmmm. That gives me kind of an idea.
If the shit were to hit the fan, maybe it'd be a good idea to figure out a meeting place, somewhere that averages the distance between everyone.

I'd rather join up with people I trust that are as close as you can get to experts in the field of Zombie Apocalypsesesss..sesesessses..... than ignorant survivors just asking for death or hard-ass idiots who think they're all that. Twas but a joke, humble one. With your training, I'd actually feel a hundred times more confident rolling with you. And adding Griggs the Gun Nut into the mix is just good business.

Okay anyways, Oct what be your talents, then? We know Grig's, Kan's, and and for some reason Scorp gives off the vibe that he's handy with molotovs and señior los lobos.

and for some reason Scorp gives off the vibe that he's handy with molotovs and señior los lobos. You're just saying that because he's from Berlfast. And according to you thats all he is skilled in. You're racist. I like how I'm discluded form everything because of the simple fact that I will be living in a canadian city by the time the infection hits us.

Millions of seaborne zombies washing up on your beaches.
Oh, and don't forget the zoombies. It's never been the same since they learned how to fly jets.
And Rakk still has to deal with Canadian Rob Zombies. They come at you with long, messy dreadlocks and instead of saying "Braaaaaains" they say "Ehhhhhhh?"

Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base. That's your skill, Kan. Military training. Grig and I just have the guns, the ammo, and the enthusiasm to use them against the undead.
Well, we're also self-trained, but that's not like military training. You've got....discipline, man.

He's Air Force, their training is about as rigorous as my morning dump.
I think you're talking to me but you got the base I was trained at wrong. :/

Military is military. Now, you have a point Hira (take off that stupid cardboard mask!), and I'd feel a lot better about Kan's training if he was in the Marines or the Navy, but hey, so long as he's not a Coastie, I feel pretty good. And, no offense, I'm not afraid of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. I'm just not that intimidated by a military force that can't defeat a giant, mutant lizard after it crops up NUMEROUS TIMES! In all seriousness, I'm still not that impressed. Maybe if you guys could strike beyond a certain area.... Oh, wait. We're responsible for your inability to do that. OOPS. I FORGOT!

My apologies.
Kan, I'm sorry, but he officially gets your spot. You now help Scorp and his degree in engineeringbuild the barricades while Hira, Grigg, and I cap zeds.

If I'm not mistaken Kan fixes planes, so he is just about as qualified in building barricades as Scorp is. And come on, Scorp's English and they know how to make a good wall.
They gotta keep chavs out somehow.
