No, this is NOT a sniper rifle. No, it does NOT allow you to attack something that's outside a building while you're inside a building. No, it does NOT allow you to attack something in another square. The Rifle's rules are as follows:
RIFLE Yunno, that long-ish firearm, requires two hands. Just like my *censored*.
Damage: 5 per shot
Clip: 3-5 bullets (preferably 3-4)
Difference to other firearms: A rifle, being longer and held by both hands means that, qite liekly, it would be easier to actually hit a target with it than you would with a pistol (short, occasionally held one-handed) or a shotgun (occasionally helkd one-handed, scatter shots).
Basically, it does the damage of a pistol, But is like, 5-10% more accurate per each firearms skill bought (i.e. basic fireaems training = 35% accuracy, basic rifle training = 60% accuracy etc.).
Any thoughts?

This... isn't bad, actually.
However, to guys over on the wiki would probably have to go to the hospital if they saw this. The main problem is that it completely replaces the pistol. I know of a couple ways this might be countered.
First, percentages would have to be very low to find this and it's ammo except in Forts. It would have to have either an extremely low to no find percentage in malls and PDs. However, this might be a good weapon to be found in other, rarer places, like mansions.

I was thinking having it sorta Forts only/rare-ish like flares...
Oh, and I thought giving it 3-4 bullet clips would make it seem... not as appealing to some as is it o others, kinda like people's preferences on Fire-axes to firearms, shotguns to pistols etc.

Flares aren't rare. If I could switch a flare for a pistol clip everytime I found one I'd not have to search again for weeks.
But besides that, this is a very great idea. I'm also glad to see you work with the percentages. But a realistic flaw is... Rifles in actuality, sniper or not, do MUCH more damage then pistols. This should do more like 10 damage. BUT of course would have to have lower percentage of finding it.

Fallen, they're only found in Mall Hardware stores and Auto Shops. (Junkyards too.) Did you search there?

Also the rifle should be more like: 1 bullet in chamber 10 damage your +5% chance to hit with only a [insert decent percentage of finding here] probably found mostly in the forts, can also be found in gunshop and police but lower percentage. the ammo should also be just as hard to find

If that were the case, Yopuii, maths says the shotgun is more efficient. Would 20% to find in forts, 10% in gunshops (maxed?) and 8% in PDs balance it?
I prefer Fallen's idea.

That, or perhaps the Pistols in this are fired at close range, the rifles at long range. Rifle = normal damage = 5 Pistol =Normal Damage + Point Blanc/Blank(?) Damage = 5. That work for you Yopuii?
